Protect the Gate in Hot Barrel Cats

A fungus horde known as the Mildews marches toward your gate. You control a squad of barrel-toting cats stationed on the wall to stop them. This Tower Defense experience adds a frantic heat mechanic to the genre. Every shot your cat fires increases its temperature. Once a cat overheats, it jams and stops shooting entirely. You must manage your roster carefully to keep the defense active. If you want more casual fun, find more titles on PlayHop.

Hot Barrel Cats Gameplay

Hot Barrel Cats Strategy and Progression

Success requires more than just clicking fast. You need a smart strategy to handle the 16 hand-tuned levels. Managing the temperature of each animal is your top priority. Drag overheated cats down to the spawn zone to cool them off, then send fresh units back up the wall. You can also merge two matching cats to create a stronger tier. A merged cat starts completely cool, making it a perfect way to upgrade your defense and reset heat simultaneously. Watch out for boss fights on levels 8, 12, and 16. Big Puffball, Shelf Cap, and Spore Mother attack your heat levels directly instead of your health. Use the coins you earn to buy perks in the cafe and claim daily rewards to stay ahead of the Mildew horde.
